Collection of Musée Rodin

Musee Rodin is an art museum located in Paris, France.  The museum was opened in 1919 in the Hotel Biron.  The museum displays the works of French sculptor Auguste Rodin.  From 1908, Rodin used the Hotel Biron as his workshop and eventually donated his entire collection of sculptures as well as his collection of paintings to the French State if they agreed to turn the building into a museum dedicated to his works.  Musee Rodin holds most of Rodin’s major creations as well as paintings by artists such as Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, and Claudel.
