Collection of Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lille


The Museum of Fine Arts of Lille, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lille, is one of the foremost museums in France.  Located in Lille, France, it is the largest French museum located outside of Paris and contains the second largest art collection in France after the Louvre.  The museum was built between 1885 and 1892 and is home to impressive collections of paintings, sculptures, and ceramics from throughout Europe.  The artwork dates from Antiquity to present day and includes works by van Dyck, Rubens, Delacroix and Monet.
