Collection of Kunstmuseum Bern


Established in 1879 and located in Bern, Switzerland, The Museum of Fine Arts Bern (Kunstmuseum Bern) is the oldest art museum in the country with a permanent collection.  The collection offers a view of art from the Middle Ages through present time.  There are over 3,000 paintings and sculptures as well as 48,000 drawings, prints, photographs, videos and films.  The museum houses works by Paul Klee, Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Ferdinand Hodler, Meret Oppenheim and Ricco Wassmer.
