Collection of Oskar Reinhart Collection 'Am Römerholz'
The Oskar Reinhart Collection ‘Am Romerholz’ is located in Winterthur, Switzerland. Art collector, Oskar Reinhart, turned his residential home, “Am Romerholz”, into an art museum and had a gallery added on by architect, Maurice Turrentini. Reinhart died in 1965 and bequeathed his home as well as his art collection to the Swiss Confederation with the condition that the works never be loaned. In 1970, the museum opened to the public. Artists represented in the collection include: Cézanne, Chardin, Corot, Courbet, Daumier, Delacroix, Géricault, Van Gogh, Maillol, Manet, Picasso, Pissarro, Renoir, Rubens, and Sisley.
