Collection of Cincinnati Art Museum


The Cincinnati Art Museum is located in the scenic Eden Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.  The collection contains more than 60,000 works spanning over 6,000 years making it one of the most comprehensive collections in the Midwest.  Founded in 1881, the Cincinnati Art Museum is one of the oldest art museums in the United States.  The Museum is well known for its European and American paintings but also houses numerous other pieces including the ancient art of Egypt, Greece, and Rome, Near and Far Eastern art, African art, costume and textile art, prints, drawings, photographs, sculpture, decorative art and a pottery gallery.
