Collection of National Gallery of Art


A visit to Washington D.C. would not be complete without seeing the National Gallery of Art. Located on the National Mall, the National Gallery and its sculpture garden is home to one of the world’s finest art collections. Those looking for Van Gogh’s will spot a few of his works in museum’s permanent collection. Along with the works of other famous Impressionists and Post Impressionists including Monet, Gauguin, Degas, Morisot, Renoir, Cassatt and many others hangs Van Gogh’s La Mousmé, 1888, Girl in White, 1890 and The Olive Orchard, 1889. A few of Van Gogh’s drawings can also be seen on view at the National Gallery of Art.
