Collection of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art


The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art located in Kansas City, MO houses a collection of over 33,500 works of art.  Ranging from ancient times to modern day the collection is best known for its extensive Asian art.  The American and European pieces come from prominent schools and periods with creations from Homer, Caravaggio, Monet, Titan, Van Gogh, Rodin, and Renoir, among many others.  The Nelson-Atkins Museum also holds the Hallmark Photographic Collection with the history of photography from 1839 to present.
